i think about this stuff a lot. it's really weird for me to have spend like, i don't know, 30% of my life browsing the web and seeing how things have gone from the web to the real world. i mean.. i was here when the first FFFUUUUUU stories, which i think were the first instance of online memes manifestating themselves outside the web, were created. so stuff like coolface being at first an inside joke and then seeing it printed somewhere, being used by the cool people was really weird. and now it's a lot weirder with the teenagers and millennials who are living their lives with no distinction of what's inside the web and outside the web. it's really bad because it makes me feel old and alienated.. i'm just 25 years old..
