Cat owner here. Cats are trash. Maybe not trash animals, but trash pets. Trash objects to own at your house.
I'm also a dog owner. Dogs are rad. You can fight with them and take them for walks. Owning a huge ass dog is cool because it makes you more alpha.

Pretty untrue. After I lost my dog I became pretty depressed. Even if they're not thoughtful creatures, physical contact with a living thing that has some sentience of it's own is extremely fulfilling. I'd probably be fine if I could get that from humans, but I can't.

Given, the more interaction you can have with a being, the more fulfilling they are, it's why I'd prefer a bf over a dog, but I can't get a bf, so dog it is, well, at least some day.
