i don't know if i agree with milo's central thesis here. firstly he doesn't state how prevalent the phenomenon is, which leads me to believe it's still pretty rare.
he says men are dropping out of society because women are becoming more polygamous, divorce is higher and marriage does nothing to benefit men. but the entire article never once mentions that this has been happening in japan at a much greater rate and for much longer.
