Why do normies work so much when they could be part-time NEETs?

I can't get autismbux but I still enjoy the NEETlife to an extent.

>here minimum wage is 7.53 euros per hour after tax
>I already own my place so don't need rent money
>I can live like a king with 400 euros per month, so 100 a week
>it means I need to work around 13 hours a week at minimum wage
>have only two days of work per week, leaving me a 5-day long "weekend"
>wake up quite late in the morning, get back quite early
>monday off to laugh at normies

My question is: Why do normies work so much? Are they obsessed with material goods and status?

Cost of living is different place to place. You just have a small & limited picture of how life really is.
>>
I too wanted a part time job, but they changed it to full time. I applied to it anyways because I want to get my family presents for christmas
>>
>>24312851
It's pretty difficult to raise children on a part-time wage.

Whose?

Life isnt all about sitting in silence 5 days a week
>>
>>24313058
>life is about flipping burgers 5 times a week
>>
it depends on what you want, op. i'm with you. i don't want shit. long as i have a place to live, internet and enough money to buy books and shit, i'm fine. but if you want a family, want to buy a house, etc, most people have to do the 9-5. some people like it, too. not most people, but people who enjoy their work and like to stay busy, find meaning in it, whatever.

Once I have saved up 10k bongbucks I will stop working full time feeling as though I have achieved something. Until then, I can hate my life.
>>
I would give anything to be able to work part time and afford to live. I can barely survive making 13 bucks an hour for 40 hours a week. I never have any spare money to fun things with.

So you work because you don't know what else you could do of your time? That's really sad, Anon. What's the point of living then?
>>

normie with rich parents spotted
obviously "having your own place" (with implied that you dont have a loan on it) isnt an easy step

>Faggots say that working at all is retarded and that you should be full time neets
>lolno
>Get a job
>Right down the street so I spend almost no time in transit
>Only 4 hours a day 20 hours a week so I have more free time than sleep time and work time combined
>Live at home so no expenses
>Can keep most of my money aside from what I give to my mom for letting me live and eat here for free
>Will be making a decent amount of cash every week

I'm going to be saving up lots of cash, I'll be getting plenty of exercise going to and from work every day, and my mom will be proud of me for not sitting at home doing nothing anymore.
Working part time while living at home is better than being a wagekek or a full time neet.
Life just got really nice for me.
Oh and Christmas is coming up, it'll feel nice to buy the people I care about gifts.

this. i'd gladly live on my own in a fucking small ass studio apartment but i don't know how to set it all up. i don't have a job either
>>
>>24313161
So, then your point of living is to browse 4chan until 4am and sitting in front of your pc 20 hours per day? Well, that's really sad Anon
>>
>>24313496
don't forget anime, manga, movies and music
it's great

You're asking why normies work. Normal people tend to have children. If you're not a normie, you probably won't have them, but the OP wasn't aimed at non-normies.

Normie detected

I wish like half the reason I work wasn't to buy anime figs

>mfw I already am a part time NEET
Why people are obsessed with jobs will never get me. I mainly do my job because it's easy and it pays well.

>get paid 3'800$ at the end of the month

how much money do you neetfags get?
>>
>>24313739
Like $2100 a month, but I don't pay rent
>>
>>24313788
Oh I'm not a neet, I thought it was a discussion question
>>
>>24313739
Upwards of 50k a year, which is pretty fucking well off for a lone guy in a cheap apartment.
>>
>>24313650

Anon please, being a selfish asshole or not has nothing to do with how normal you are.
If you want to spite me over that, call me a moralfag or something else more accurate.

I do it for my mom, she helps me pay some rent while I help with bills and I'm in college. I'm not taking out loans
>>

>selfish
Why are normies so pathologically obsessed with how well they think people around them will treat them as long as they keep wearing the shell of that petty feels-good attitude in the crowd and bully everyone not altrustic enough by their standards?
>>
I kind of do that except I make $25/hour for 7 months of the year, then get laid off for the winter, and spend the other 5 making 60% of my wage on EI doing absolutely nothing. And every year that I come back to work I get a mandatory raise

Getting a 5 month vacation every year and spending the winter being /comfy/ 24/7 is the shit
>>
>>24314186

I'm not sure Anon, it probably has something to do with the pathological obsession others have with shitposting. Maybe you can give us some insight into that?
>>
In reality, yeah everyone could be living comfortably in one bedroom apartments and whatnot, but people are greedy.
