it depends on what you want, op. i'm with you. i don't want shit. long as i have a place to live, internet and enough money to buy books and shit, i'm fine. but if you want a family, want to buy a house, etc, most people have to do the 9-5. some people like it, too. not most people, but people who enjoy their work and like to stay busy, find meaning in it, whatever.
Once I have saved up 10k bongbucks I will stop working full time feeling as though I have achieved something. Until then, I can hate my life.
I would give anything to be able to work part time and afford to live. I can barely survive making 13 bucks an hour for 40 hours a week. I never have any spare money to fun things with.
