I served as a Marine on the USS Kearsarge in 2010. It was fucking hell. I got stuck on dish duty and had to spend literally 16+ hours a day washing dishes for the 3000+ people onboard for a month straight. Even when i wasn't on Dish duty life was absolutely miserable.
