I work for a butcher shop and we replaced all our refrigeration units. I asked the shop manager what they were doing with them and he said they were just going to be picked up by scrappers so I went home on my lunch grabbed my sawzall and cut out every piece of copper from it. Had about 70lbs of the stuff and made $100 from like 30 minutes of actual work. There's good money in it if you're willing to go raid construction site
