It's a good game, been playing it since pretty early in wc3. Matchmaking is still pretty problematic, though. Inb4 no, it's not. According to dotabuff, most of my games are high skill and some very high skill. I shouldn't be teamed up with people who don't know how to pick, how to lane, ward, farm or rotate. The worst shit of it all is all the fucking ruskies who you can't even communicate with.
All in all a good waste of time and quite fun at times, but a good 60% of matches are shit and lost at the picking phase. I wouldn't mind losing if the teams were balanced and fair, but matchmaking is fucking retarded.

I fucked up and did my mmr in old dota b4 I knew what I was doin so my mmr is fucked, but I got a lot better through playing and watching youtube vids. Trying to get my mmr up from 1k to a feasible 2.5k, I'm good as disruptor, ss, pa, slark, elder tits, and tide. :/

Back in Dota1 I would play 10 games or so for 1 really good game that I loved and enjoyed. In Dota2 it's more like 50-100 games for 1 good game. Literally just too many retarded trashcans.
