What size violin should I learn /r9k/? I'm leaning towards small violin but jumbo violin also looks cool.

I sit in front of the computer all day, so violin would be easier to incorporate into my lifestyle, making me more likely to practice it. I would think about getting an electric violin, because I am worried about noise, but I would need to find out if electric violins are noisy or not.

Whatever you do, don't choose medium violin. Large and jumbo violin get the fun rhythm parts, small violin gets the fun melodies, and medium violin is designated to the no-fun-allowed support role
