Not much you can do about it other than trying to ignore the extremely lame jokes and such, while at the same time trying to "mimic" (in the broader sense of term) their behavior. Playing games as a woman is still relatively uncommon compared to men, the only thing you can really do to try and diffuse the awkwardness over time is by not seeming to care about it. Shrug off the fact you're seen as a novelty/minority and they don't know how to act around women in games.
Some men will end up being very awkward not knowing what to say or how to act, others will assume you're only going to attentionwhore, others don't care and play along as normal. The former can be "taught" or shown they don't have to act differently if feel awkward by you making similar jokes and join in on banter (importantly have the ability to take it, too), the second group probably won't change much and best to just ignore them. If the whole group turns out to be filled with such people, not much you can do other than just leaving the group and find a better one.
Playing online/multiplayer games will likely continue to be a struggle whenever your gender becomes known, thanks to the attentionwhoring women as well as SJW drama surrounding games creating stereotypes, and because you're still seen as a minority when it comes to playing games.
It sucks, but it is what it is. Best you can do is try not to take it personal, try to show you're not a fragile attention-craving "gamer gurl XD" but actually playing the game because you want to, shrug off awkwardness, maybe laugh along with the extremely lame jokes at times, and minimize the time spent communicating with the people that can't deal with your gender ingame.I sometimes have similar experiences when going on meets or something and me being halfblack is found out. Black (as they see it, even at 3/4th white) people playing games is quite uncommon. "Racist" jokes are pretty common from some people, not much you can do about it.
