I build gundams. I agree it's very slow paced, but I treat it like a form of meditation. It's the most Concemtrated I'll be all day and it feels very rewarding once I build my kit. Never got into the other stuff though, so I don't have much of an opinion. But I'd reccomend gundams to start!
