Naw, I'm actually considering joining as an officer once I've got my engineering degree ~2 years, could smash all of the fitness tests now If I pleased, consistent 6 minute miles, 15 pull ups, 72 pressups in one minute, situps are just second nature to me guessing around 80-90 in a minute (This is royal marine/paratrooper officer or special forces standards).

I did a placement year and it was the worst time of my life. Work and then home. Sometimes gym here and there. I've never been more alone in my life. I had nothing. Sure the money was nice but it's not what I want in life. I want relationships, and it's clear even if I study I won't get them.
I feel like I'm looking at a mountain and the people around me are climbing the mountain together with help from each other. I'm all alone at the bottom trying to climb by myself but keep tripping.
