It's been a few weeks since the last thread I made. Have any of you done anything cool with your penpals?

Maybe about three months. I only make them on weekends and wednesdays, since penpals obviously don't always respond immediately or send gifts all the time. Things like that only happen every once in a while. I didn't make the threads in the last two or three weeks though. I was sick, and then had college stuff, and then the return of the robot made a little shit storm.

I made a picture guide to get you started. It's the first one I made and these generals are new, so I plan on making an updated version later on. If you have questions or anything ask. I have had my penpal for 4 years and love her to death (we're not in a relationship) and I wanted to share this experience with other robots. It's awesome having someone interested in your life and enjoys talking to you.

I think I should clarify that these threads are mainly done with japan-guide and interpals. I don't mind if you exchange info with other robots, but I'd rather not let these threads turn into /soc/ skype threads. You may have seen this picture posted here a few times. It's a letter I got from a qt in Japan. That's the type of thing I intend for these threads. We may not have gfs, but we can atleast talk to foreign girls and make guy friends.

Concerning the safety of this matter, how do you manage to know you are in a secure situation and there's no risk in the exchanging of information? That's the thing that makes me doubt about starting to socialise via pen pal.

This may not sound very assuring, but it's largely using common sense. On those sites, you do occasionally come across some scams and shit. Just don't give any personal information, visit strange links, or send money or gifts too soon. Now with sending letters and stuff, I didn't give my penpal my address until a year or so, maybe more. Try asking about getting in a video call first. Skype is always fun and you can help feel a little more assured that it's actually a girl and not some other neckbeard or Indian guy.

I had a nice experience talking to and keeping up with a cute girl in Japan. I want to share this experience with fellow robots. We see posts all the time with robots saying they wish they had qt jap gfs all the time. Now they can atleast talk to and befriend Japanese, or any country's, girls.
