Why is suicide looked so down upon?
I'm at the point where if someone laid a gun in front of me there would be 0 hesitation, but what I gather is they'd much rather lock me away and destroy my brain with pills.

Because most of the time people don't know what they are doing when they suicide. I heard a statistic that in an interview with a bunch of bridge jumper surviviors, almost all of them realized that their problems were solvable halfway down. So I guess suicide is looked down upon because people feel they can help/ prevent that loss of life.
It's because some people just run up shit loads of debt then kill themselves. If that didn't happen I don't the the elites would care enough to discourage people
