As a manlet (5'4") I've been thinking about getting height increase surgery. Should I do it?

The complications that could occur are pin tract infections, which are routinely treated with antibiotics; Joint stiffness may also occur, which will require physical therapy to correct. Other complications may include deep infections, nerve injury, vessel injury, blood clots, nonunions, and compartment syndrome. Most of these complications are rare and can be treated with physical therapy or additional surgery though.

I've though about it and the only reason not to do is of you're nearing 50 and or is disabled.
other than that there are no downside, since you are likely to recuperate the money the surgery costs simply because of bias

I'm 22. If I decide to have the surgery I'll use the money I make from my rental properties (I inherited them) to pay for it. I've always felt that my height limited by potential success in life but I don't know for sure.

you realize all professional athletes official heights are fudged? everyone 5'10 says they're 5'11, but if they were actually 5'11 they say they're 6'0 so 5'10 say they are 6'0 and 5'11 say they are 6'1. Guys Im shrinking! I dont know what my real height is anymore!
OK so when I stand on both legs I seem to be only around 5-8 but when I stand on only one leg I rise up almost two inches to 5-9.5 with shoes on an hair makes me look 6-0 when I stand on my one leg. Im not getting taller standing on my one leg, IN FACT standing on both legs is making me SHORTER!
Perhaps I have developed scoliosis or a bad hip from years of sitting at the computer?! What is my true height?!
