I totally look like him when he was younger. But he is the total opposite. He moved here (Germany) when he was a young man and could harly speak a word in German. But: managed to get rather wealthy (enough for a nice house and cars in the suburbs), always flirts with women, is a lady's man, left my mother for a while to live with a younger woman. Pretty much a Chad but nice and friendly.
I'm the total opposite. A failure, not nice, not friendly, no success with woman, no success in life...

My father smuggled coke and weed through Everglades City throughout the late '70s and early '80s. Then, in the mid '80s, he became a chef. This lasted up until around the mid '90s when I was born. He took his money and retired to raise me. He's an extremely shitty parent, but now that I'm old enough to be totally independent I'm pretty glad that he's so neglectful. I still live at home until I leave for college and I can basically get away with anything.

The saddest thing about my failure is that I come from such great privilege. If I was just a mild disappointment in life I'd be upper middle class and successful. I had to not just fail, but shit my pants and fall onto a rusty knife level of failure for 20 straight years to get where I am today.
My dads a total bro in the best way. Into vidya, comics, and D&D but also super fit ex army. He and I see eye to eye on most stuff.
I don't know if I'm well adjusted internally but externally I'm well adjusted. Just goes to show that being fucked up extends to more than just daddy issues.

not really, he worked white collar jobs for 25+ years then got laid off because of his boss didn't like a decision he made, he was a teacher at a university for a few years until he decided to retire. He's not a bad guy even if we do but heads often. Since I've moved out I have a lot more respect for him.

my father's been a drummer in rock bands since before I was born, not famous but he makes a decent living doing it. he's in his fifties now and still makes money playing a couple gigs a week. he's really cool and popular.
