There are people that are genuinely balding at young ages, but you people do know that a mature hairline is a normal thing, right? Around 18-22, (ironically a massive portion of this board), your temples start to recede a bit, and your hairline might even lift up a quarter of an inch or so. This happens in literally like 95% of all males. If anything, it makes you look more mature and less juvenile. While an anecdote, I've heard if balding is minimum until age 30-35, you're apparently good to go hair-wise for the next 20-25 years of your life.

They will notice a combover and will probably laugh/talk about it when you're not around. You could slowly transition to a buzz. Start with a bald fade and once you get thinner buzz it. I can always tell when people are thinning or balding it's pretty obvious and chances are people have already noticed you are if it's remotely bad. The thing is I've always had this same cut, I'm not trying to hide my balding with it. I never even considered getting it cut shorter until I learned it may look like I'm trying to hide it. I know hiding it shows in body language so I accept it when the wind blows it and am not afraid to reveal it.
