I find old people or tech-tarded college students are prone to this. I usually have a couple of tabs open at once (email is always open in one), but if I ever have so many that they start collapsing in the tool bar I reevaluate what I need.

I never knew why this was a thing either. If there is something I know I won't get around to reading until later, I'll just bookmark it and close it. Right now I have two tabs open. Sometimes I'll go through the catalog and tab into all the threads I want to read but apart from that I can't handle having more than 5 open.

I was only recommending a useful drug. If you were to take a drug, some useful ones would be cannabis, perhaps for appetite, sleep, etc. and LSD for mental health reasons. The reason why LSD was never used by psychiatrists was because it was abused by hippies and banned by the government. It is useful though. I also think amphetamines can be useful but too easily abused.
