You need to get a small detailed brush for where the wall meets the ceiling. Rollers will not cover the top part of the wall without painting the ceiling too.

You choose then to put the larger ladder on the staircase, which is impossible without separately extending feet on the ladder, and very close to parallel with the wall (dangerous) or against the wall behind them, putting the ladder nearly perpendicular with the wall (also dangerous).
You could stack blocks underneath the lower step but that's even more dangerous (from personal experience)
