>get into conversation with some other student
>he says he has to study 24/7 but is managing perfect grades
>was quite impressed, asked him what he studies
>tells me "electrical engineering"
>mfw
>wonder if he was being serious about his degree being hard
>turns out he was

I assume there's a few engineering students on here, so I'm actually curious. Do you guys actually think your degree is difficult or are you at the stage where you realise anyone could do it

Medicine: Memorizing biology books.
Engineering: Solving advanced mathematical problems.

Oh look it's this thread again.

I'm actually a med student and finding that I have less to do than my twin brother who is only doing law.

Thinking of dropping it though. I think I only chose medicine because I could.

College jingoism is hilarious and revolting.

It's almost like you all think you're worth shit.

I'm a med student who did mechanical engineering undergrad. Med school is a million times easier, it's just rote memorization, no thinking or intelligence required at all. Engineering required abstract thought and conceptualization. I enjoyed it much more, however medicine careers can be life on easy mode. Most doctor jobs are bullshit hours but there are a few good ones.

I'm an engineer who did med school. I couldn't handle med school because I'm not smart enough and I simply rote learn theories and equations for my engineering course.

:)

>engineering
>memorization
Lel, the reason I don't want to do med is because I would actually need to memorize shit.
Not in engineering, the equations are always given on the exams, hell, most of my exams are completely open note, its all about the ability to problem solve
