Blackbot with dreads here, I kinda want to cut my dreads but I want long hair really really badly. I just love long hair, but I don't know any long hair styles for black guys except dreads. Any suggestions/ideas or am I stuck with my inferior genes?

My dad had dreads for a long time and he cut it off recently as he transitioned into his 50's he thought it was hurting his social position as people didn't take a black guy seriously in terms of being a worker, so he cut it all off, i was disappointing because i love long hair too but I understood why.

Grow an afro, I've grown two in my life and im working on the third one now, good luck OP.
