A bit cunty by our standards its noticeable in some of the museum staff. I was waved away with sighs and tuts occasionally, once because there wasn't enough time to see the entire museum, she just pointed to someone else who could speak a bit of English and i had to explain I wasn't bothered if I only got an hour to go round.
Some are nice though, a security guard in a military police type deal stopped me from leaving a museum and I thought I was fucked, but he showed me through to another section I had missed.
Yeah there are guards everywhere and metal detectors, its sort of funny how they don't do anything even if they go off maybe I look too white.
people keep to themselves a bit more, you probably won't meet as many people who want to practice their english as you do in western europe
