Practice. It's all in reducing the gag reflex. That's at the back of the mouth. Try it with any long object. Length is more at issue than girth. With one of this girth, you also have to practice breathing through the nose, and being able to hold your breath and blow out around the object. Breath in through the nose when the object clears out into your mouth. Roll the tongue around it while you catch your breath before you let him plunge in again.
