Moonman is a forced meme that originated on YTMND. The actual character you see who calls himself "moonman" is actually the Mcdonald's advertising character Mac Tonight. Moonman's voice comes from a text to speech generator. Someone figured out that if you type in a stream of capital K's it repeatedly prounces it in the rhythmic unique "KKK KKK KKK" fashion you've probably heard. The origonal creator ran with that and made his moonman character into a racist persona.
