Hey /r/, I really need your help with something.
There is this movie that I remember seeing on TV over 5 years ago, and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, here is all i know about it:
>movie revolves about two kids who fall in love
>boy lives with older male family member (not dad)
>boy and girl were outcasts and would play in forest a lot
>one day bully comes and attacks girl with baseball bat while boy was helpless
Can't remember if girl died.
I also really remember this one scene where the parent called the boy to the porch and she was waiting for him and she was dressed in this beautiful dress and he kept staring at her for a good while.
Also at the end of the movie the boy is a grown man and visits the house where that old parent lived like 20 years later but finds new tenants.
The movie had a similar vibe to "Bridge Of Terabithia" but I felt it executed it much better.
