ive had this scar for about more than a year now, i was shaving using a cut throat, and i cut myself, i added alcohol to remove any germa and patched it up, but not stitched. it never really bugged me as i thought it would evntually flatten down, but it still sticks out. Does anyone know what i can do?
a) never put alcohol on a cut
b) you should have gotten stitches when it happened
c) keep cuts out of sunlight for the first few months. scar tissue tans different than skin cells, usually much darker.

we get something called Tissue Oil over her in SA, its used to help with scars and pregant women for strech marks. google it.
