There's a general blur on her face but it's mostly the lower half. It's just a slight blur but it's enough that if worked in cum from a nice and sharp porn photo, it would stand out and look strange. Her face also gets blurrier as we move to the left (darker) jaw, but here mouth/chin isn't quite as blurry. Also, the grain in the picture stands out more in the darker areas.
I made an effort to match ALL of that. Not perfect, but fuck perfect.
So again, the short answer to the question of "technique" comes down to getting better at actually knowing Photoshop.

Yes, there is a "seamless skin tones" box in Auto-Blend. But if your cum sample isn't a decently close match in color & levels to your target pic, you're in for a world of hurt no matter what.

I think I'll just get better at using the auto-blend. I've used it with faceswaps (with limited success) and I remember it had a limitation: that the area to be blended over had to be erased on the original image and contracted a bit, in order to get a good blend. Is it the same deal with the cumshops? Because I imagine face-features don't always match up well.
Again, really nice job with the shops, I hope to match their quality someday :)

Yep, it's the same. So you Control-click on the cum layer to make the selection, then click on your blend layer (or the layer of the whole pic if you're doing it noob mode), then do Select>Modify>Contract. How much of the selection you contract & delete can make a HUGE difference, and it's not always the same, so you just gotta do some experimenting.
