if you mean resolution: you can always make something look worse... not other way around. Always make sure your source file(s) is at least same quality as target.
cases where source looks sharper, some options:
a) noise + despeckle (faded 50%)
b) resampling (enlarge to 200%, shrink to 50%)
c) lowering the contrast
In general, most common mistake on nudefakes is that people copy too little from source pic. you should also use the chest/belly area and in small steps blend (mask)
