Context : You arrived in a strange land full of towers and lights. You fell off a cliff, then crawled to a tower with a pink light crowning it. There, you found a dead man fastened to the wall, skewered with needles. You looted him.

In the process of taking the strangers corpse down off the wall, you prick yourself quite a bit.
They had quite a bit of miscellany on them. The plot thickens.
You take stock of your inventory.
One (1) spool with orange thread.
One (1) golden coin.
Two (2) small, orange pills.
One (1) badly charred, yet serviceable dirk.
A fire rages on in the distance. The opening to this ominous tower beckons you. You are confused, and bleeding.

Eat that tasty-looking orange pill, does it taste like orange?
Go up the tower, we will conquer it and make it our base.

You flick the pill into the air. You crack your mouth and catch it.
You've lost all senses apart from sight, which has been improved three-fold.
The power is overwhelming. You are not afraid.

Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to infer anything useful in your current state. It's just specks to you.
Also, lacking the sense of touch, you weren't aware of how hard you were gripping the coin. With your newly found power, it's effortlessly crushed between your finger and thumb.
Could have been important. Damn, oh well.
