Welcome to le mustard pickle man face role playing game, thread 1. First option voted three times will be picked.
You awake in a high rise apartment in New York with le mustard pickle man (see pic related) peering over you. You are too disoriented to see what le mustard pickle man's countenance toward you is, however he seems to be preparing to engage in secksual intercourse with a woman after he orders something on the phone. You are laying on your back and feel that you may have been knocked out and mugged. Did le mustard pickle man save you from your assailants, or is he your offender? You decide that it's time to move, even if it's painful at first.
>1. Squirm around and attempt to locate your pockets and items within. Whether your items are there or not proves if you were or were not mugged.
>2. Attempt to befriend le mustard pickle man by coming up with and monologuing an intellectual critique on an 80s pop record.
>3. Flee from le mustard pickle man in your disoriented state. Run out the door and down the stairs. However, beware le mustard pickle man is holding a chainsaw and if he turns out to be your assailant and intends to do you harm, he may chase you down and throw the chainsaw at you down the stairway, possibly killing you.

You sit up. Your head spins but all you can think about is Huey Lewis & The News' 1983 record, Sports. Le mustard pickle man hasn't noticed you coming to yet.
You ask, "Do you like Huey Lewis and The News?,"
Le mustard pickle man turns around unsurprised, faces you charmingly and says, "They're ok."
Feeling that you may have struck a chord in musical taste with le mustard pickle man, you launch into your monologue.
"Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor."
Le mustard pickle man finishes putting on a raincoat and walks over to his stereo, obviously pleased to have a musical connection with you (pic related). He puts on the song Hip To Be Square and starts,
"In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself."
You are relieved that you may have made a connection with le mustard pickle man and that he doesn't outwardly appear to want to harm you. Le mustard pickle man walks out of sight into the bathroom, possibly to retrieve something.
