Thousand years ago, one of the greatest war that plaugue in the continent of Pastilles between the Military Nation of Dielgyians and the Combined Alliances of the humans and elves called The Legions.
Thousands upon thousands of people laid their lives everyday in the battlefield clashing between swords and magic. Not until that day.
At the height of war both nation realize the air they breath stank and reeks the blood of their fallen enemies and comerades, and a great beast was summoned from the horrors of the war.....up in the sky.
It rained meteors upon meteors that almost wiped the whole civilization. But one woman stand at the great abomination that would eventually erase us from existence.

Her song made the great seal that closes the sky with thunderous black clouds, evetually covered and blanketed the whole world shielding us from the meteor and preventing the great beast in the sky to rain havoc down on land. Eventually the clouds made from charcoal black reverted to white and fluffy clouds. The beast was never found and the people are saved.
Ever since that day, the world is coverd by white clouds. Rays of sun shines down but not visible in the sky....the people grow to understand that they may never see the sky so blue again.
Except for one who wants to see how the sky would look like.

Mechanics will follow after the story progression. Social rolls are 1d20, Combat are also 1d20 both with critfails and crit success all best of 3 or 5.

A cloudy day again and will be cloudy tomorrow and next day and until the succeeding day. Not that you hate it rather, you feel thankful whoever sealed that great beast on the sky.
You don't care any religious talks anyway since it bores you to death. Best to keep it in on paper so you can read it at your leisure time. Back then you just read a lot of books and then try it if you can do it. Look at it now you can say that you are proficient in using your weapon.....probably. Magic is quite nice but you never decided on one thing since you need to invest a lot of time to master one element, or so the book claims.
You're currently at the public library in your town. You almost read all the things here and every month you look forward for new arrivals, then again you have some favorites here.
