FIRST UPDATE
The Chieftain of the Vaomatua Tagata sighed as he gazed at the village of Gaiscioch. It was a flourishing settlement, but he felt concern as winter approached. It had been a good summer so far for the harvest, but he was worried that the winter would bring freezing weather, destroying their harvest.
He also brought his mind to more outside threats. The Vaomatua Tagata were also threatened by the other tribes of Eire. The island was a small place, and if the southern tribes were unable to feed themselves, they would no doubt attempt to invade. What would he do?

Build Lumberjack's hut
>>233379
>>233386
In the outskirts of the village of Gaiscioch a lumberjack's hut has been created. A lumberjack lives there and works diligently, producing much of the wood we need. The Chieftain also sent out a messenger to meet with the southern tribes. There were the Uiscebunadh and the Ohanadh. The Uiscebunadh were a sea people who lived off fishing. When the messenger returned, he told tales of the people there being making strange wooden structures which floated on the water. The chieftain was interested, but his primary interest was to secure a trade deal. The Uiscebunadh offered to send some of the fish they had in exchange for an alliance against the Ohanadh. It is said that the Ohanadh had strange weapons which were much stronger than normal weapons. The Ohanadh offered an alliance as well. What would the chieftain choose?

The Uiscebunadh accept the alliance and begin trading us their fish. However the Ohanadh decline the alliance, saying that constant raiding against the Uiscebunadh was how they fed themselves. The farmers of Gaiscioch discover that instead of bringing the farm to the river, they can instead bring water to the farm, digging canals for water to pass from the river to the farmlands. This allows for the creation of new farms. 2 more farms are built. The people also begin collecting more stone for tools.

Now that we have a population of 2000 we consume 2 wood per turn while we only produce 1, we should either increase our wood production or trade some of our overproduced food for wood from our neighbours.

Recently, the heavy rain has been washing away the soil, and sometimes strange stones are seen. They are very hard and shiny. They were often sold for high value. Soon, people discovered that they could mine the earth where they had found these stones and they would find more. They called these stones metals. Then another revalation came. Metal could be molten down and then shaped. Soon metal tools were created. Using these new tools, the people decided to build a giant monument. It was made out of large slabs of rock.

The population of the village was steadily increasing, almost reaching 3000. One of the hunters near the village came up with an ingenious weapon. It was called a bow and could fire big darts from far away. Soon people realized that it could be used on humans as well. Construction also finished on a mine to permanently collect the new metal and a smith, where a blacksmith forged new tools and weapons.

Stonehenge was being upgraded, but there was a problem. Everyone forgot what to do constantly. This problem was solved when something called writing was invented. A giant castle was also built after stone cutting was invented. The chieftain really wanted it, saying that it would be really popular a few years later. Local fishermen also invented the net to be able to catch fish more efficiently.

Immediately worried by the immense power of the Ohanadh, the Chieftain decides to take some measures to protect the Vaomatua Tagata. Swords are created for the first time, along with metal leggings and gauntlets. More stone is mined to create new defenses along the border and trees are cut down for wood. The remaining Uiscebunadh are invited to flee to Gaiscioch. More boats are created which are able to easily sail down rivers to scout the position of the Uiscebunadh. Though the Uiscebunadh have a larger army, the Vaomatua tagata have a much more well armed force.
