After finishing you delicious cup of coffee, enjoying your day off, you hear a knock at the door.
Slightly annoyed you look out through the window and see two strange looking characters, they're both wearing black suits and black sunglasses.
Curious, you open the door and the man on the right says, "Are you Ted Williamson?" What do you do?
First person to reply is the protagonist, they may take suggestions from others.
I'm a linguistic analyst. Why?

"We need you for...reasons, we'll explain soon enough, just get in the van without resistance and everything will go well.' The one on the left says in the same monotone voice as the one on the right as he points to a shady looking black van.
What will you do?
>>231403
"what reasons"
>>231403
Ok.. I'm going to need to see a badge if you guys want me to get into the rape van. It's nothing personal, but you guys are the shadiest motherfuckers to grace my door since the Mormons were going door to door
>>231423
Kek, 1000000% this
>>231403
S-Sure... Can you wait a sec? I really need to get the popcorn out of the microwave. It will be fast...
*starts walking to the kitchen

The men both look at each other and sign as the slightly taller one pulls a baton and smacks you across face with it.
As you awaken from head trauma, you find yourself in the black van being driven to God knows where, you look around see that your handcuffed and being watched carefully by one of them as the other drives, "Things could've been so much easier, but you had to go and resist." Says the man watching you.
What do you do?
Slowly step back inside the house. Everyone knows shades don't work indoors, so there's no way they'll be able to see you!
*sighs You know? This is illegal right?
>>231446
"I did resist you autist I asked for identification
>>231361
You fucking cunt i thought afterlife quest was back
>>231446
Ok, so why on earth are you kidnapping a linguist? You must know I don't have money, my parents aren't rich either. Not that you gentlemen look like you are trying to get a ransom. Why the fuck am I here? Or are you going to beat me every time I ask a question?

The man chuckles, "Well, I suppose since we're out in the middle of nowhere, it wouldn't hurt to talk about it." The man comes a bit closer towards you. "You see, there's something that you and all of the other people you work with don't know. Out there, there is a facility where we test and work on the most advanced and state of the art technology, you see, there is an entirely different world of technology and machinery that the public work could not simply comprehend, but you my friend, just got lucky in seeing this underground labyrinth of tech."
The man stays silent for solid 5 seconds before speaking again.
"Now, do you want to help us or not? Because we have millions of other people at our disposal, you were just next in line."
What do you do?
>>231553
Call him a cliché and run.
>>231553
I mean I'll work with you if you are telling me the truth. If you are just dragging me out into the middle of nowhere to kill me thanks for lying to me about it at least. But I'm a LINGUIST not an engineer or a techie. I mean coding is technically a language but that's hardly my expertise.
So what can I call you? Or should I just stick to calling you asshole?
>>231639
"Oh yeah, I'll get the proof." The man reaches into his suit and pulls out a badge, "Here, badge number and all." The man puts it back into his suit while clearing his throat.
"Anyways, the reason we need you is a little weird, you see, there's something specific about you, there was something odd about your brain, we expiremented on it and found out that it was compatible to many of our new technology, we could hook you up to it without killing you, unlike most our other expirements." the man continues, "The reason we didn't do it earlier was because your parents backed out of it, as we couldn't force people to be expiremented on without permission, but the laws have gotten a bit more, uh, convenient. so that's why you're here, not for your coding skills, but for your brain, you may not be in shape, but that won't matter once in the suit we got for you."
The man driving says that their here, the man talking to you replies to your last request.
"Oh yeah, just call me Daniels, and call the guy driving Cortez, though I prefer Asshole."
He takes off your cuffs and takes you underground in the desert through what seems like millions of security clearances.
As you go deeper and deeper, you hear loud machine like noises, as the men go through the last security checkpoint, they walk up a long set of stairs and at the top leads to hundreds of different labs for different sections of research, it amazes you, but the men take you to the section of Defense.
As you walk through the hallways you see guns and armor being expiremented on, you see all kinds of weapons, from swords to Laser guns, but you attention is changed as you walk into a room with multiple scientists and one giant suit of strange looking armor.
Daniels introduces you to the lead scientist, "Ted, this is Dr.Catherine." Says Daniel, "Pleasure to meet you, I know all of this is a bit jarring and sort of fast paced, but don't worry, I know don't have any combat expertise, but once you're in the suit it will all come naturally."
Catherine explains that the suit is designed as a defense for the military, but if it works on you, it will be designed for police work until they get a military model.
"Now, do you have any questions?" Catherine asks.
>>231773
I have a literal shit ton of questions.
So you are basically making me put on an iron man suit right? Only this one kills everybody but ME when worn? And my parents were going to have me experimented on??
What am I going to be expected to do once I wear the damn thing? Find a cape and start fighting crime? What's the usefulness of the technology if it only works on one guy? Especially if that guy is a chubby language nerd who has never been in a single fight? This whole set up is clown town. You people seem like Willey Coyote with laser canons.
