The year is 2016 and the zombie apocalypse is upon you! You get word of zombies over the TV and you are mildly surprised. You hop off your couch and look around your empty home. You never had much family to worry about, no one to care about you, really. You don't have strong ties to any people so you're well set for psychological impact. You're emotionally detached, and hopefully this goes well for you.
You live in a two-story home by yourself, your girlfriend having left you and taken the dog a month ago. She couldn't stand the fact you had a gun, and your dog didn't know what was wrong. Sucks, but now the apocalypse is here.
You live in the suburbs of a heavily populated city, bustling and filled to the brim with people. The news says that its in your area, perhaps a kilometer away from you. It'll likely spread incredibly quickly to your area, if it hasn't already.
Roll a 1d1000 to determine how prepared you are for this shit.

It is, ain't it?
>>206096
We'll uh, roll with this one.

You are Oliver Smith, a typical man who has managed to get his hands on a hunting rifle. You're an avid hunter, going out on trips to snag prey and bring back cool things to decorate your den. In said den, you are hanging a few moose heads. You are also quite the good shot with your rifle.
You are moderately well prepared, and browse /k/ sometimes. You put on your run-of-the-mill forest fatigues and put on an equally colored survival ACU. You've got a brand new box of 7.62×39mm Brown Bear rounds and stuff that inside, along with some food, water, basic survival supplies and three loaded clips.
You grab your SKS and make your way to the front door, but not before a zombie knocks your front door down. You take aim and fire.
Roll a 1d100 to see if you can hit this thing :^)

>>206192
You've uh, shot it in the chest. Two times, but it hasn't shown any signs of stopping. It starts to jerkily sprint towards you.
>Roll a 1d100 to bayonet it
>Roll a 8d100 to spray and pray.
Rolled 14 (1d100)

>Write-in: Hit in the head with the butt of the gun
>>206263
We hold our trusty-ish SKS with the other end and go to smack this zombie. Unfortunately, we miss and it gets a bite in on us.
Luckily, it's an old person zombie and is just gumming us.
wat do?
Rolled 73 (1d100)
>>206272
Stab the eye
>>206298
Well, that certainly did the trick. We stab the zombi- Hey, wasn't this guy the old veteran down the street? He always talked about his gun stash. As the corpse falls, you reload and contemplate this.
>Raid his house
>Get the fuck outta town
>>206328
Check out his house, but check all around the outside and watch the house for a few minutes. He got bit, and probably in his house.
>>206350
Also, grab a bat or a crowbar or something. That way we don't have to shoot everything. And we probably have a hunting knife, right?
>>206350
What's a hunting knife? Oh, right. One of those things. You grab your crowbar and buckle that to your side, walking out your front door. The world is in disarray, and zombies are eating people left and right. You creep along a series of bushes (zombies have a poor sense of sight and are colorblind), undetected. The gore on you prevents the more sharper zombies from sniffing you out.
You swing yourself up into a tree in his front yard and climb up a few branches for optimal security, and then wait.
Many zombies come and pass and soon you decide to drop, but not before one massive fucking thing comes out. This thing is HUGE. It is a 7'5" behemoth who is absolutely riddled with bullets. It doesn't seem anywhere near dead, but its right leg is lame and it relies on its massive right arm to help it move about. It seems to be roaming around inside the home.
what do?
>>206416
Wait it out for a while. If it doesn't leave, try to cause a distraction outside with a car alarm or something
>>206440
It doesn't seem to want to come out at all, preferring to stay inside. It's bustling around the kitchen and shoving things in its mouth. Perhaps it was the veteran's child or something and retains some sentience? Regardless, you pick an apple and lob it at a car across the street. The alarm is set off and is REALLY fucking loud. It quickly lumbers out, smashing through an entire wall to investigate the disturbance.
You take advantage of this to run inside, but you've maybe ten minutes before they destroy the car and disable the alarm. You know the veteran has weapons, but you gotta look for them.
Roll a 1d100. I'll take the best roll.
Rolled 40 (1d100)

You trip on your way in and hit the ground rather hard, making some pots and pans clang loudly. As a result, Tubby turns your way and begins to charge towards you. It's you, him, and twenty other infected.

Going to report, see if a mod will delete it, and no I wont be doing a false report, because in the board rules it says the op has to be in it, and this OP was not in it.
>Therefore, only those people willing to put in the effort to be a quest author should post threads.
(Just covering my own ass so i dont get banned lmfao)
