Let's play a civ game, /qst/!
Welcome to the world of Prekor. A world almost exactly like ours, with one key difference- there has been no mass extinctions in its history; no meteors, floods, or volcanoes, and prehistoric monsters from all eras stalk the land, swim the seas, and soar the skies. In this harsh environment, intelligent life has not has a chance to blossom until recently, with the coming of a strange, red comet. Banding together, Prekor's new sapient residents have started to form the very first nation-states, akin to those in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt. You, the players, are the nobles of one of the most recent cities, and will collectively decide it's direction (and fate), based on four actions.
You know the drill, first to 3 determines the race, first to 3 determines the place.
(Please, at the very least, namefag)

>>200221
Even monstergirls?
Kobolds
>>200239
Even monstergirls. However, this is a collective game where people vote for their preferred race/location, so it might not be chosen.

>>200261
If we can start the game, I suppose I'll support too
>>200375
Welp, thread ruined
Should have done cyrstalids
>>200389
What does a bipedal scorpion even look like?
>>200395
I guess sort of like a hunchback with exoskeleton, and scorpion claws in place of hands and a tail.
Don`t know about the face.
Of course all the people who nominated scorpion kin are gone so thread is dying
>>200411
We'll revote then, all previous votes stand.

>>200475
Petition to remove all female, can we just be a race of sentient scorpions. Use the insect stats
>>200486
Nah, our stats would be drastically different than Insects.

Pushed from the lands of others, thanks to their appearance and reputation, the scorpionfolk have traveled long distances, finally coming together in a dark, sweltering jungle. With the howls and cries of the creatures of their new home all around them, they set to work carving out their own little kingdom.

This, and capture slaves

Let`s also try to make some armor and claw-friendly weapons to compliment our melee.

1) The hunt is a massive success, the hunters easily running down their prey and stabbing it with their stingers. Many small and medium-sized creatures are caught. (+5 food)
2) The hunt for slaves is also a great success, with a few luckless jungle-dwellers being subdued. [Added tab: Slaves: 4)
3) Making some armor out of stripped tree bark proves much harder. The people's claws just end up ruining it.

I) If the scorpions can eat vegetables, force the slaves to produce them, so that we won't run out of food.
II)Hunt for more slaves
III) See if the trees can be used to build better houses.
If not, burrow into the ground
If not, make the slaves breed to serve as livestock.
Before all of that, of course, learn their language and interrogate them to see if some of them know something of importance.

1 Force the captured slaves to make the armour for us.
2 Play to our strengths, initiate melee combat training and appoint the strongest and most powerful warrior as a combat leader (special person)
3 Magic over Technology, begin magical study to aid us in everyday mundane tasks.
4 Maintain supply of food via hunting.
>>200660
Hunt for more slaves, looking for big and hard working guys.
>Our slaves need to be top notch and we have the diplomacy for it.
Start clearing the area around in town and start building more houses for ateling food and quarters for the slaves.

>5 actions this turn because you missed one last turn
1) The breeding doesn't go so well, with only one slave ending up with child. You fail to learn their language as well. (+1 slave)
2) The hunt for more slaves fails miserably, the tribe coming home just in time to catch the slaves trying to flee. They are caught and punished, though.
3) Combat training begins, and soon the warrior with the hardest claws and most potent sting is chosen to lead the troops. (Special Person: Warleader Blacktail)
4) Magical study begins, but just barely, (1/???)
5) Again, the tribe has great success hunting. (+5 food).

I propose we build a network of underground tunnels and ports that serve as a means of defense, a tunnel fortress.
We'll build one for our capital and then use this model for future forts.
>>200843
Again go out and find more slaves, telling them to find good slaves or don't come back.
>Not really but we really need more slaves.
Then get every able body to start chopping down trees and clearing area, start building a main town hall, some wooden walls and make out some roads with stones.
>Also make sure the slaves are harshly punished and breed with to the point of basically brainwashing.
