>Come one, come all, 'tis time for the council of elders to lead yet another civilization from it's cradle to it's greatness.

Hi mates, rules are as follows, i roll for you guys, so no need to roll.
First three to agree upon an answer or first two after 30 mins.
If you feel like it, you can give suggestions about races/locations that you have come up with.

>Brothers and sisters, it is decided. The new and interesting race of Insects that have taken vast networks of the subterranean as their home shall be guided by our divine hand!
>They are not numerous, not for their kind per se, but they are crafty. The surrounding mananite veins seem to have made them next to incapable of casting any kind of magic and their leader "Kakte" as she calls herself has managed to establish something akin to a hive mind. Trough chemical, visual and audio communication the entire hive works together towards a common goal: To make the queen empress of the world!
>What shall we have them do council members? Their food supplies seem to be rather sufficient. On the other hand their knowledge is lacking, not to mention the fact they only know of the networks of the subterranean, nothing of the outside world.

Lets make some tunneling sensory bugs. They can feel the vibrations for things on the ground and use that to gather info.

After a few days of incantations, the first results of the council's tampering come to fruition.
During this time the Insects have given themselves the name of "Perussi" and have noticed odd creatures outside one of the exits of the tunnels they use as an entry point.
> What now? Should we make them investigate? Maybe make them fortify their positions?

Do both. Send a scout. The rest will fortify the place as much as they can.
Going to wait for 5 more minutes and will proceed with writing with what i have.

maybe mine some resources to see what kind of ore is around and give us more space to expand
>Seems that our queen decided to investigate the creatures, smart decision. What surprised me is that she also managed to make fortifications using timber and a strange alloy they make trough eating iron ore and secreting it afterwards.
What was found out is that the odd creatures are hostile to our species, their description is of a rancid smell, short stature and use of odd tools that like the hammers the builder drones use, though in stead they are sharpenedaxes mates, they are dwarves. On the bright side, their meat is exceedingly delicious the scout reports.

We must dig tunnels under their cities and rise from the ground to fight them from the inside.

After careful manipulation of the queen, she is convinced that the dwarves are going to be a good source of food and she starts preparing her hive. New Preussi are born, trained and utilized. After a few weeks the "colony" of the dwarves is found by some of the hive's diggers.
>I do wonder, how shall we get our queen to proceed? Silent hunting, mass attack? So many options!
In the mean time we are made aware that one of the workers has found a way to use quartz crystals to make grenade like weapons.

After we thoroughly subjugate them with the element of suprise followed by sheer numbers from all sides, we shall treat the survivors like cattles and slaves. We will destroy their colony. Their belongings and possession looted, their buildings and historical records burned, their men and women devoured and their children imprisoned and groomed to become subservient minions/livestock. We will breed them until, in several generations of selective breeding, they become too submissive and dumb to oppose us but not too much that they'll become worthless pieces of meat.
