Snowtop Mountain is by far the tallest mountain of the known world. You're a moustached mountain climber and you've vowed to be the first person to climb Snowtop and reach its summit!

In addition, you have enough money to purchase most things trivially, but they will take up space in your backpack. There's a wooden hut selling soem equipment close by, which also sells or leases mounts and helps travellers hire local guides - though these local guides are only familiar with the mountain up to a certain elevation.
The land at this level is mostly orchards, vineyards and fields of wheat and barley.

You decide to acquire a companion and ask around the local farming community for anyboy that would like to join you in attempting the first ascent of Snowtop. Though this is not harvest season; many people decline due to fear over the dangers involved, or only agree to accompany you until the end of some of the more well-known areas. In the end, only one person agrees to ascend the mountain with you, an aged amateur climber who grows grapes and makes wine.
