(Hey, just laying out that we'll be going by majority rules for this quest but if a decision can't be made I will roll the dice for it.)
I am CEM-AI, Collective EMergency Artificial Intelligence, and you are the choice making AI's that comprise myself, hence the collective part of my name.
There are more important matters then this however, for you see do the unexpected super nova of a nearby star system we, as in the station, were bombarded by huge amounts of solar radiation. The radiation shields held, but the warp gate orbiting the station was completely destroyed. This was the main warp gate leading out of the system and our only link to the outside galactic community. This means we are stranded here in this system, perhaps indefinitely. The normal AI was connected to the galactic warp gate and was unable to function without it. So our mission is to keep the humans of this station alive and the station functioning, and the continuation of mining operations if possible.
Currently the crew is unaware of how dire the situation is but I can't ignore their questions forever. What should we do?

How long of a trip to the gas giant warp?
We have to disclose the information with the engineers and ask for them to take a look at the warp to see if there is anything we can do
