Start lightly banning (24hr bans) for anyone who posts in cuck/pedo/porn spam threads.

The Problem with /tv/ is that not only are these threads spammed relentlessly, but they quickly gain dozens of replies within minutes.

The mods need to ban everyone who posts in these threads to encourage people to stop posting in and bumping these shitposting threads.

This is how we end up getting cuck porn threads that reach the bump limit.

If you ban people for even posting in those threads, they will learn their lession and those threads will die much faster and not be all over the top of the catalog.

or teach people about sage.

has everyone forgotten about sage?

Seems like most people don't have the decency to use it when they should. Or they're so new that they don't know about it.

Either way, people shouldn't respond to those threads. And the mods should delete them ASAP, but for some reason they don't.

>Actually caring about /tv/
/tv/ is a meme and shitposting board pretending to be a tv and film board. It's not supposed to be good because nobody on the board actually watches tv or film.

They used to do that, it doesn't work.

Yeah, it's too infested with /tv/edditors.

I've gotten banned for saging and calling out a pedoposter while also having reported the thread - and I didn't announce my sage or report either.

Also /tv/'s problem is more a lack of moderation rather than people responding to those threads. The spammers don't care about how fast the threads die, they'll just make new ones if no mod's at home. So basically now you'll have how /tv/ currently is except some relatively innocent posters get banned as well, which will only piss people off and encourage them to ban evade and try even less in /tv/.

Troll psychology has changed over time. Many of them do not care if 99% of their threads go completely ignored. They just want to be infamous, and to enrage the janitors when they see a queue of 100 "Easter?" threads.

The old /tv/ community is too small to fix the problem. We against /sp/, /v/, /b/, /s4s/ and /pol/ it's plain impossible.

At the same time a lot of the more on topic threads are full with /mu/tard with the patrician complex so I don't know who is worst.

I never post in them but when it's needed I sage all the time

I think it does work, there's just so many.
