Because Pokemon Go came out and BOTH /v/ and /vp/ are being flooded with cancerous newfags and crossboarders. Use the catalog you fuck, there's more threads about this on /qa/ than there are Pokemon threads on /v/

same reason dark soul, witcher or overwatch gets infinite immunity to repost rules and boards rules overall : money and undercover mods.
