I would like to make and use this thread to draw attention to some of the facing the drawthreads on the different boards.
First off I would like to bring some attention to the shit currently going on in the /v/ draw thread. The imp shit that should clearly go to /aco/, /b/, /d/, or /trash/.

He either needs to be told that this shit doesn't belong there by a mod or something or imps get a board to call home. /aco/ already has a thread for this kind of content and yet he refuses to go there.

They don't fucking belong on those boards and anyone taking acting to make them worse are doing the dirty jobs which are morally and ethically needed. These cancerous fucking drawfags need to know their fucking place. They have over the years been the cause of decline of the board they should be fucking using, /i/, instead of where they actually post. The problem is that these cretins are attention whores and worse, a handful are effectively businessmen who protect a circlejerk which has generated them profit.

It is not imp characters, Midna is fine because her character is that of an imp. When you play Twilight Princess, you will see Midna as an imp. When you play all of the Mario games, Peach is not an imp in any one of them. If he wants to do this imp bullshit, take it to /aco/, /trash/, /d/, or /b/ where the fetish belongs. Imp shit is the same level as diaper, furry, and futa where the fetish is far too deviant and should go to the proper board. It may be a fetish to some but I don't see how you can get in such a tizzy about it when it's not inherently NSFW and I don't think it can be compared to futa which explicitly involves drawing dicks.
Say someone gets off on characters being drawn in chibi style and requests it in thread, it's not a reason to get angry and start reporting them or redirecting them.
Or for a more common example, character fusion and other transformations are considered fetishes in many parts of the internet, yet they're a mainstay in drawthreads.

Yeah, I suppose there's a gap in how I break things down semantically.
I think it's because "monkey" is lumped with all the other animals, Sonic characters ARE all animals, and humanoid pokemon are lumped with "pokemon" as a whole, which are largely animal based, themed, and they're pretty much treated as animals in-universe.
With fantastical humanoids (elves, angels, imps) they are not human by definition, yet there is no category to put them in besides "human-based fantastical entity".
At the same time, I don't really care a whole deal for this kind of hair-splitting. As far as I've seen moderation work, imps have been allowed on /v/ since Twilight Princess came out and I don't really see why it should be stopped now.
I hate the idol worship and circlejerking whenever an artist comes into a thread. Most people just suck them off hoping to get porn done or them gushing about how good they are and it just clogs up the thread. "Wow you are so amazing!" and "Can you do my request I would be so honored?" etc. are dumb and unnecessary. People don't love them because they draw well, they love them because they think they can get something out of their praise. Artists shouldn't come to 4chan for popularity and they should just do their job (because let's face it, nobody respects them much at all only their content) and likewise, anonymous users should stop acting like children when nobody chooses their waifu to get fucked by a million dicks.
