/v/ was so fucking bad that it had nowhere to go but up.
Also console wars are on the downlow since Nintendo went off the deep end and xbots don't exist. Hard to have a console war when there's only one in the running.

How did you come to that conclusion?
Over the years i've browsed /g/, /co/, /n/, /a/, /jp/, /diy/, /int/, /3/, and /vg/.
The only board I'd still return to would be /a/.
