Y'know how, on /pol/, with the IDs, you can click on an ID all posts made by that ID are highlighted?
Could it be something like that? Click on a reply and all replies to it become highlighted in a similar or identical way? I don't like (You) but I can see why others do.
Also, I tend to just highlight my post number and hit ctrl+f to see how many replies I got, and hitting next takes me to all the replies.
