Did no one look at these before they got approved?
I've said this before, but opening it to people that likely have never even visited the board(s) in question is a mistake. There's no real way to enforce that, though, I guess.
But, looking at the winners for the boards with voting completed gives me some hope. The winners were good.
Every single banner is hot garbage but at least they have memes.

I was trying to call attention to the fact that there are banners for the wrong boards in the running for /news/ banner.
One is for /gd/ which isn't even up for vote this week. Last week was the time to vote on /gd/ banners. Yet there's a /gd/ banner in the running for /news/. Also there's a /p/ in with the /news/ banners.
How is it I'm the only person who noticed this?
Even after I tried to point it out by showing images, it went missed.
