Hey /qa/, I don't want to seem like I'm bitching about this but I'm just curious as to why this thread was deleted off /tv/.
There was some decent discussion going on in there.

Sure it's anime themed but /tv/ has pretty great evangelion threads every now and then that sometimes even get to 300 posts. The mods allow light anime discussion now and then, but even this thread was more about female characters in media rather than Kill la Kill.
Any thoughts?

mods are pretty inconsistent on anime threads in /tv/
it might be simply that no one reports them for a while because no one minds them. As long as it's 'accessible' anime - the normal stuff like DBZ, NGE, KLK, etc., no one seems to care for the most part.
>>576679
Anime belongs on /a/. Any anime thread you see last a while on /tv/ is just mods not feeling like doing their job, which happens a lot. Now delete this shitty thread immediately, its fucking pathetic

This except no one can't delete their own threads anymore
>>576679
>namefag
>likes Shit la Shit
>wants to talk about anime on /tv/
Feel free to kill yourself anytime.

Maybe if you read my post, you'll see that thread was about female characters in western media and not Kill la Kill.

I've seen threads deleted while at the same time Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell (anime not the upcoming movie), and Studio Ghibli threads reach the bump limit and archive. Clearly anime is allowed to a certain extent. Like >>576691 said there's no specific rules to them. It's not as black and white as "all anime belongs on /a/, no questions asked".
When I was growing up, DBZ was just TV. No one even knew what anime was. It was just a cool show.
Now stuff like KLK and Death Note is on Netflix further breaking down barriers.
Also /co/ stuff is on /tv/ all the time anyways, why not /a/ stuff?
