Same reason tumblr SJWs get offended by people from here. They think we're ridiculous for not embracing at least 150 genders and being anti-male/anti-white because (somehow) that is always the correct answer to them.
We think they're ridiculous for doing those same things.
A lot of tumblr seems rather innocuous / unrelated to the SJW shit but they do have a community there that is hostile beyond imagination to not just /pol/ but the general indifference/ridicule most boards here have towards their hotbutton issues.

No specific reason, it's sort of like a bunch of people say something is bad, and a bunch of other people think it's bad and they get angry even if they don't know it's true, and it spreads because no one is thinking rationally, like a part of their brain switches off.

As much as I hate the truth, 4chan is no different. Your point about tumblr being the home of fandoms seems true enough. It's why the place gathers some of the worst of the worst fans of anything. Being very well known as a place for porn hurts the userbase as well. Something about porn attracts the dregs of humankind. Just look at /b/ and other obviously NSFW boards.
I personally see tumblr as a gathering place for the worst on 4chan. Not very different from infinity chan.

The only reason it's "no different" is exactly because of the reason he outlined, because we got flooded by people from sites like Reddit and Tumblr diluting the quality, culture and standards of the site. You can see them in this thread defending tumblr.

Because despite initially having well meaning intentions, they force their borderline hypocritical sjw ideals into everyone else. However, we should go with the flow and ignore them.
