I don't get it. Do mods not actually browse the boards or something? It seems like they'll show up every few hours to clear a queue then leave, even if it's obvious spam is on-going. They don't seem to check the catalog either to see if there's spam that hasn't gone unreported. I know I wouldn't report every single one of those threads.
Like on /tv/ I might report 1 or 2 pedo/blacked threads, then see them get deleted along with stuff other anons must've reported - with even more threads of the same type still surviving ostensibly because they weren't reported. Why wouldn't you check the catalog at that point?

I think there are not many mods outside of the US/Canada so right when nighttime kicks in in the US you start to see less moderation (swaglord lives in NYC IIRC for instance), so usually at around midnight eastern there's a good time chunk where you can post NSFW shit and have it stay up for a considerable amount of time
that said, this Aussie guy is hard to stop since he has a lot of IPs so it seems.
Moderation has been extremely lax on quite a few boards over the past few weeks.

First time visitor here. /qa/ isn't described anywhere in the rules so I can't find anything about it. Is this the place where you complain about percieved unjust moderating? Do mods actually see these threads and do something with the complaints?

/qa/ was supposed to have been deleted after moot's final Q and A but it remained and turned into a laid back meta board. Once hiro came around it morphed into a combination of /q/ and /b/. I just want the old /qa/ back damn it.
It's anyone's guess as to when or how often the mods view these threads, but they don't comment in them. Once a month or so hiro picks a thread at random to reply to and things generally only become worse from there.
