Windows users, do you know there are versions of GNU/Linux easy to install, easy to use?
Why are you afraid of the new wave of technological advancement and freedom? What is holding you from switching?
You can even play games, and more are coming to this platform.
Because I don't want to spend 4 months editing config files just to listen to my music
>>568455
Nope, that is no problem for versions like Ubuntu, Mint and many more.
As 2ch once said in one of your /g/ collages, I care more about games than freedom.
>>568459
>Mint
>unironically recommending a distro assembled by maintainers who can't even secure their own fucking website
tip top lel
Also, I tried Ubango 16.04 the day after its release. Gnome terminal was a buggy mess, Snappy didn't work at all, and the software update app's UI didn't update after two clicks.
Desktop Linux has always been and always will be a meme.

daily reminder
>>568472
So you are guided by memes, not using Mint because of a meme, and try to use the not yet developed snappy?
You sir are a living meme.
Can I watch porn on linux? Or is there porn only playable on windows?
>>568588
If you can watch anime on it, you can watch porn.
>>568467
That screenshot was fake, and it was Futaba, not 2ch.
>>568451
>Why are you afraid of the new wave of technological advancement and freedom? What is holding you from switching?
Biggest problem right now is AMD GPU driver is still shit compared to Nvidia.
>>568451
switching takes effort and my computer came with windows on it
>>568619
Porn is more complex than anime though.
>steam, skype and other non-freedom respecting software
>not disabling loop/pocket and other unused firefox bloat
>not supporting 4chan
>gnome
>using a distro derived from debian
What's the point of using Linux when you'll never experience what makes Linux great?
You might as well just use Windows.
i'm too lazy to use gnu/linux. why do you care? you're not making money off it.
>>568588
>>568653
You mean you want to visit sites with flash? Yes, you can do that, and safer than WIndows cuz if you dowload a .exe file you won't get viruses.
>>568643
>>568712
Now this is a more common reason. Take a look how the installation is to have an idea of how easy is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R33sFFhgkWk
And installing software? Easier than windows.

>and safer than WIndows cuz if you dowload a .exe file you won't get viruses.
stale meme is stale

>implying a bug is a virus
>implying they weren't fixed instantly
>implying updates weren't available for all users a day the most
Because nobody is going to check if you are talking shit, right?

>fixed instantly
>the very URL states that one went undiscovered for five years
>others went undiscovered for 2 and 3 years
stop posting anytime
>>568786
You are still implying far too much. They are discovered instantly, but you are ok with implying one case of a bug in Linux makes Windows bugfree.
How about no. And stop implying Linux has viruses, is not Windows.
>>568619
>>568451
Because fuck you and damn the consequences.
I plan to, I just haven't done it yet
For people who wants to switch, there is an ongoing thread on /g/ >>568451
Just skim the spammers and trolls.

I have installed Linux before, it took me half an hour and one CD and I have been using that computer for years.
I just never bothered on any other machine.
