Why do we not get public bans anymore? (or at least a lot less frequent)
I think the quality of a lot of boards would improve with public bans.
A lot of people keep spamming the same shit and don't realize it's against the rules when it gets deleted and just go ahead and keep spamming shit.
What do you think?

I wholeheartedly agree.
More pub bans would definitely lead to less shitposting.
Those "this place is just for shitposting" fags need to get it first.
Any time a poster is publicly banned (or warned) it derails the thread, which sucks if the thread has potential to be good.
I think mods should only do it if it's the OP or it's an extremely shitty thread to begin with, and they should put the thread on autosage at the same time so all the ">(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)" reaction image spam doesn't bump it.

I agree, but when it happens make it a sticky and lock it for a few hours.
