This place is trash because people think it should be trash because the mods allow it to be trash because they think the users want it to be trash. The userbase or the mods. Who has worse standards?

Everyone hates it, but nobody seems to care about fixing it.

Either 99% of janitors wash out for one reason or another or they're just too picky about adding new janitors. With every new round of janitors the place never seems to change any, at least on /tv/ in particular. If I was there I would just add a ton of janitors and worry about getting rid of the bad ones later.

It can be really hard to predict who's going to be a good mod, especially on some text application form. It's even harder to find good mods/janitors that aren't going to burn out relatively fast.
