What is the point of having an arbitrary "sfw" tit

What is the point of having an arbitrary "sfw" title for a board, most work places block 4chan regardless if a certain board doesnt have naked things on it or not(assuming people dont shitpost and the mods take a bit to get it)
Although, we shouldnt allow blatant porn threads but have it like in pol where nsfw stuff is allowed as long as you're on topic
I think we need to mature as a website, and i would like to know if ready to or not
